Why to Certify
Devoted to upskilling the port ecosystem human capital to accelerate ports’ green transition whilst boosting career advancement, job mobility, and talent retention, BLUE PORTS offers a new operational Certification Scheme, conforming to the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard. Based on the European Accreditation Mutual Agreement (EA MLA), the Scheme will be mutually recognised across national governmental and accreditation authorities in Europe and beyond.
The BLUE PORTS Certification Scheme is developed in vigorous consultation with the National Technical Committees in Greece, Italy, Spain and Georgia, incorporating their views and recommendations, ensuring that the Scheme corresponds to the actual market needs and to the future trends of the port sector’s green transition.
