sdfThe BLUE PORTS (Blue Careers in Net-Zero Energy Ports) Kick-off meeting took place in Chania, Crete (Greece) on the 7th and 8th of December of 2023, bringing together Consortium’s partners under the guidance of the project’s coordinator Renewable Sustainable Energy Laboratory of the Technical University of Crete (ReSEL TUC) and the advising of CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, gathering representatives from the academia, port and certification authorities, and organizations operating in the ports’ ecosystem and the Blue Economy.
The main objective of the meeting was to overview the project’s scope and expected outcomes and to exchange on the methods, key success factors and challenges; also, to define the development of the project’s tasks with a focus on the first semester action plan and to define important parameters of project management, monitoring and reporting. Furthermore, it provided an opportunity for most partners of the consortium to meet, in person or virtually, and realize their roles and responsibilities on the project.
