These data underscore the need for more education and training in Automation for The Green Transition, especially at the Management and Strategic Levels, where the demand for knowledge is the highest.3.1.4.FUTURE WORK NEEDSThis section explores whether respondents consider that the thematic areas will be needed in their daily work in 2030.The following table shows the areas of knowledge ordered from most to least necessary for the respondents%u2019 daily work in 2030.The respondents consider that for their future work, the most in-demand area is Energy Management Systems, followed by Environmental Safety, Environmental Pollution, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. On the other end of the scale, the areas they consider least necessary for their future work are related to Alternative Fuels, more in particular: Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen. In addition, Alternative Fuels is the area with the most uncertainty: 40% of respondents do not know if they will need knowledge on Ammonia or Methanol in the future for their daily work.
