BLUE PORTS | D2.5 Identification of present and future skills needs 233.1.2.CURRENT EDUCATION / TRAINING/ LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE IN GREEN TRANSITION AREASWith regard to the level of knowledge on areas and subareas of energy transition and the Blue Economy in ports, the responses ranged from %u201cNo Knowledge%u201d, %u201cPoor Knowledge%u201d, %u201cBasic Knowledge%u201d, %u201cGood Knowledge%u201d and %u201cAdvanced Knowledge%u201d.The following table shows the areas of knowledge ordered from highest to lowest level of knowledge among those who responded to the survey. In general, the areas with the highest level of training are Environmental protection, followed by Energy transition, and those with the lowest level of knowledge are Alternative fuels and Digitalization/Automation for Green Transition. For Environmental pollution, 46% of those who responded to the survey have %u201cGood%u201d or %u201cAdvanced Knowledge%u201d in this area, compared to 17% who have %u201cPoor%u201d or %u201cNo Knowledge%u201d on the subject. On the other hand, for Automation for Green Transition, only 16% have %u201cGood%u201d or %u201cAdvanced Knowledge%u201d compared to 54% who say they have %u201cPoor%u201d or %u201cNo Knowledge%u201d.Table 2.
