The need to incorporate automation, combined with other areas such as energy efficiency, is also mentioned.Regarding methodologies, the importance of training is highlighted and that it should be organized and programmed by companies on a regular basis. New tools such as virtual reality, digital models, augmented reality, simulators, etc. should be incorporated.About the most demanded jobs between now and 2030 in the respondents%u2019 organization, the majority of respondents consider that Technical jobs in general will be more in demand that other categories. The most demanded would be:%uf0a7 Technical (Engineering and Design) jobs related to decarbonisation and climateadaptation strategies%uf0a7 Technical jobs related to alternative fuels%uf0a7 Technical jobs related to environmental protection%uf0a7 Technical jobs related to automation and digitalisation to support Green Transition%uf0a7 Manager jobs related to sustainabilityAsked about other jobs required in 2030, respondents mentioned various occupations focused on sustainability and advanced technology. Lawyers specialized in ecological protection and legal jobs related to the Green Transition will be essential, as well as Data Experts on Energy Efficiency and Emissions. Sustainability Managers and Chief Sustainability Officers will play crucial roles, along with Consultants in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Green Contract Design. Scientists specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Experts in Virtualization and Big Data will also be in demand, as well as Experts in the Application of AI in Energy Management. Additionally, Technicians for the Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment and Antifouling Systems in ports will be needed. Finally, there will be a need for those responsible for Sustainable Development Goals and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the port context.The respondents estimate that their organizations' training needs in Green Transition skills by 2030 will be high: 32% of respondents estimate that in their organizations more than 50% of workforce will need training. 33% of respondents estimate that in their organizations, 25-50% of workforce will need training. Only 28% of respondents estimate that in their organizations less than 25% of workforce will need training.When asked about new hires needed by 2030 to support sustainable growth transition initiatives, one-third of respondents estimate their organizations will hire up to five employees dedicated to these efforts. 15% anticipate hiring between 6 and 10 new employees, while another 15% expect to bring on more than 10. 10% of respondents believe no new hires will be made, and the remaining 26% are unsure.
