BLUE PORTS | D2.6 State of the art report on the BLUE-PORTS common training methodology 14%u03a4RAINEES ASSESSMENTTrainees will have the opportunity for self-assessment during their participation to the BLUE PORTS training course.Persons who wish to be certified with the ISO 17024 BLUE PORTS Certification Scheme either as a %u201cPort Sustainability Adviser/Officer%u201d or a %u201cPort Sustainability Operator%u201d will have to pass the Certification Examination.3.8.1. %u03a4RAINEES SELF-ASSESSMENTAt the end of each sub-module, trainees will have the opportunity to self-assess the acquired knowledge by means of test (quizzes, drag-and-drop exercises, branching scenarios etc.) in order to evaluate their own understanding and retention of contents, and possibly fill any gap in case of learning issues.3.8.1. CERTIFICATION EXAMINATIONThe certification exam will be scheduled within three to five weeks after the training concludes. Candidates who successfully pass the exam will obtain certification. The completion of the training course is not a prerequisite for taking or passing the certification exam.The exam will be conducted online with remote invigilation. It will be administered through the Theo-RE TP platform, with T%u00dcV HELLAS (T%u00dcV NORD) invigilators monitoring candidates remotely via video, audio, and screen sharing. This setup will be designed to allow multiple candidates to take the exam simultaneously.The assessment will consist of two components:1. A written examination conducted under exam conditions with closed books.2. A practical assessment, based on scenario-based questions, designed to evaluate realworld problem-solving skills.As is standard practice for similar certification schemes, the written exam will include closed questions with a predetermined passing score.For detailed information on the exam process, specifications, and the pool of questions, refer to D5.2 BLUE PORTS Certification Handbook.
