BLUE PORTS | D2.6 State of the art report on the BLUE-PORTS common training methodology 12Trainers will be selected based on tangible experience in the subject field, either professional or academic, and recruited in, but not limited to, organisations part of the project consortium.Preference will be given to trainers who are certified and registered in the adult education teacher trainer registers. Particular attention will be paid to basing this selection on standard qualifications, working and teaching experience in maritime and ports personnel.An orientation session/workshop covering structure, objectives, and specific content areas will be organized to help trainers' preparation.TRAINING TOOLS3.7.1. TRAINING MATERIALS AND RESOURCESIn order to roll out the courses, a variety of training materials and resources are used to ensure that the learning experience is effective, engaging and accessible. This may include text-based contents such as guides, manuals, presentations and other written documents, virtual classrooms, video lectures and tutorials, infographics and other visual aids, interactive eLearning modules, discussion forums, assessment tools and feedback mechanisms. All material and resources will be provided through the Learning Management System.In any case, the training materials will be detailed in the Trainees%u2019 Handbook and the Trainers%u2019 Manual as follows:%u2022 Trainees%u2019 Handbook: This document will cover the technical and theoretical content, aligned with the learning objectives, skills, and competencies presented in the syllabus. The handbook will be complemented with practical guidelines, including tips, step-bystep guidance, and case examples to facilitate understanding and application. Additionally, it will include self-assessment exercises, resources for further reading, ensuring comprehensive support for trainees. The training material will be available on the e-learning platform.%u2022 Trainers%u2019 Manual: This manual will provide a detailed analysis of the e-BLUE PORTS curriculum, along with practical guidelines to assist training providers and trainers in aligning with the BLUE PORTS training scheme requirements and methodology. It will also include instructions on the effective use of training tools, ensuring a structured and standardized delivery of the courses.%u2022 Exercise Book Solutions: A dedicated section with solutions to exercises, allowing both trainees and trainers to verify responses, understand problem-solving approaches, and reinforce learning. This resource will enhance self-assessment and facilitate guided training sessions.
