                                    BLUE PORTS | D2.6 State of the art report on the BLUE-PORTS common training methodology 15TRAINING COURSE EVALUATIONThe evaluation of the effectiveness of the training programme will be of crucial importance for the success of the BLUE PORTS project.Training evaluation to assess the training%u2019s content and presentation will be undertaken. This would include feedback on the training course, trainers, materials, and knowledge and performance assessments that gauge the level of mastery of course content. The feedback will be requested to all trainees at the end of the course, through the e-learning platform and it will be mandatory to consider the course completed.The main focus of the post-course assessment would be to ascertain whether the overall outcomes of the trainings have been achieved and to receive recommendations from the people working on the ground. The evaluation will help the Partners to identify any weakness and improvement areas of the content or process and to determine what made the actions successful or find potential gaps in the needs%u2019 assessment.The objectives of the evaluation phase are to: %u2022 finetune the training content and process%u2022 evaluate the effectiveness of the training%u2022 capture and document any lessons learned - identifying particular aspects for improvement.REFRESHER COURSESShort refresher courses will be considered by selecting a subset of topics, particularly those involving fast-changing technologies, to support lifelong learning and ensure technical competence remains up to date.More details are provided in the D5.2 BLUE PORTS Certification Handbook.
